For South Sudanese youth to succeed, poverty shouldn't be in their way. Padoc Area Scholars Society USA PASS, a St. Paul, MN, 501c3 nonprofit, gives 419 scholars a future: full tuition, a living stipend for the academic year, mentorship and the stability to focus on learning instead of survival. Students from every tribe, every state, and every refugee camp are eligible to apply. When you give to PASS, a student stays housed, fed, and in school, one step closer to the life they've earned.

The Lake Park Area Historical Society strives to preserve the rich history of our rural town and surrounding area through storytelling, artifact sharing and community engagement. The Historical Society also encourages volunteerism, teaching and learning from community members of all ages from high school scholars to retirees. We maintain 2 historic buildings, the one-room Schoolhouse and our Museum. We invite visitors to peruse collection displays and enjoy fellowship with their neighbors.
