Information from the organizationThe Lake Park Area Historical Society strives to preserve the rich history of our rural town and surrounding area through storytelling, artifact sharing and community engagement. The Historical Society also encourages volunteerism, teaching and learning from community members of all ages from high school scholars to retirees. We maintain 2 historic buildings, the one-room Schoolhouse and our Museum. We invite visitors to peruse collection displays and enjoy fellowship with their neighbors.
