Since 1984 we have provided education for kids and adults about lake care and pollution control. we also help with restoring lake shore lines, keeping a healthy fish population and maintaining the lake ecosystem in our area. we oversee 5 lakes that we help maintain as well as their waterways.

The Siseebakwet Lake Association mission is to preserve the water and land environment of the water shed district; this is accomplished by monitoring the lake quality, providing education and organizing members to provide labor to accomplish environmental projects. The SLA accomplishes these goals by provided educational speakers and handouts on best shoreline practices, septic system maintenance, Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS), AIS inspectors at the public boat landing, and lake water samples.

The Purpose of the Minnewaska Lake Association is to enhance the water quality and fishing opportunities of Lake Minnewaska. We do programs to educate youth in the art of fishing "Take a Kid Fishing" We treat Eurasion Water Milfoil to Improve water quality and Stock Walleyes to improve fishing. We help fund "Let's go Fishing" for the opportunity to help Seniors to experience fishing. We are 309 members strong and a very active Lake Association.
